The Hydrafacial Procedure: Step-by-Step
Step 1: Cleanse + Peel
We begin with gentle cleansing and exfoliation using a Glycolic and Salicylic acid solution (Activ-4™ serum) to uncover a new layer of skin. This step is gentle and non-irritating.
Step 2: Extract + Hydrate
Using the patented vortex suction, the device painlessly removes debris, blackheads, and oil from pores. Simultaneously, it infuses the skin with hydrating moisturizers.
Step 3: Fuse + Protect
Finally, we saturate the skin’s surface with potent antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid (Antiox+™ serum) to provide an instant glow and protect the skin.
Add-Ons: Boosters & LED
If you choose a Deluxe or Platinum treatment, this is when we apply your custom booster serum and/or use LED Light Therapy (Red light for anti-aging, Blue light for acne).
Duration & Sessions: A standard Hydrafacial takes 30-45 minutes (60 minutes for Platinum). We recommend monthly sessions for optimal, cumulative skin health.
Pre-Treatment Preparation Guidelines
1-2 Weeks Before
- Avoid any deep chemical peels, laser treatments, or ablative procedures.
- Discontinue any dermal fillers or Botox in the treatment area.
3-5 Days Before
- Stop using all topical Retinoids (Retin-A, Tretinoin, Retinol).
- Pause use of exfoliating acids (AHAs, BHAs) and Benzoyl Peroxide.
- Avoid waxing or using depilatories in the area.
Treatment Day
- Arrive with a clean face, free of makeup or moisturizer.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure.
- Men should shave at least 3-4 hours prior, not immediately before.
You must not have this treatment if you have an active sunburn, rash, or cold sore in the area. Patients who have used Isotretinoin (Accutane) must be off the medication for at least 6 months prior to treatment.
Aftercare & Recovery (Zero Downtime)
One of the primary benefits of Hydrafacial is the complete lack of medical downtime. You can resume most normal activities immediately.
First 24 Hours
Your skin will be glowing. Mild redness is possible but typically fades within an hour.
- ✓ Apply moisturizer and SPF 50+.
- ✗ DO NOT wash your face or apply makeup for at least 6 hours.
- ✗ Avoid strenuous exercise, steam rooms, or saunas.
The Next 48-72 Hours
Skin remains hydrated and smooth.
- ✓ You may resume gentle cleansing and makeup.
- ✓ Continue strict sun protection.
- ✗ DO NOT use any retinoids or strong exfoliants for 3-5 days.
Long-Term Care
Maintain your results with a good homecare regimen.

- ✓ Use Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid serums to prolong results.
- ✓ Schedule your next session in 4-6 weeks.
